You asked and we listened! Virtual options are back by popular demand. There will now be limited virtual entries available for most Marine Corps Marathon Organization events.
Marine Corps 17.75K
The first opportunity to be #VirtuallyUnstoppable will be with the Marine Corps 17.75K. Virtual registration for the 17.75K will open February 9 at 10 a.m. EST, and be $65 for domestic and $95 for international. Please note that virtual finishers will not receive Access Granted into the 47th MCM in October.
Belleau Wood 8K and Crossroads Trail 15K
Virtual registration for the Belleau Wood 8K and Crossroads Trail 15K will also be opening on February 9 at 10 a.m. EST. Virtual registration for both events will be $47 domestic and $75 international. Virtualfinishers will not qualify for the Distinguished Participant program.
47th MCM, MCM50K and MCM10K
All MCM Weekend Events will include limited virtual entries. Virtual registration for the 47th MCM and MCM50K will open along with general live registration on February 16 at noon EST for $95 domestic and $125 international. MCM10K virtual entries will be open along with MCM10K general live registration on April 6 at noon EST for $65 domestic and $95 international. Virtual finishers will not qualify for the Semper Fidelis Challenge. Also, a virtual MCM or MCM50K finish will not count toward the Runners Club.
Marine Corps Historic Half Events
All three Historic Half Weekend events will now also be offering a virtual option. This registration will open on February 23 at 10 a.m. EST. Virtual pricing for these events are as follows:
- Historic Half – $75 domestic, $105 international
- Devil Dog Double – $95 domestic, $125 international
- Semper 5ive – $45 domestic, $75 international
Virtual finishers will not be eligible for the Distinguished Participant program and Semper Fidelis Challenge. Also, a virtual finish will not count toward Iron Mile status.
Quantico 12K & Turkey Trot 10K
The Quantico 12K and the Turkey Trot 10K virtual options will open simultaneously with the live and in-person registration.
The Quantico Tri, the MCM Kids Run and the Turkey Trot Mile will not have a virtual option.
Live to Virtual Transfer
Runners currently registered for the live option can transfer to virtual by following our event to event transfer process. This can be done within your participant account.Live to virtual transfers will be allowed as long as entries are available. Please note that a virtual finish will not qualify for Access Granted, Distinguished Participation and Semper Fidelis Challenge.
Event to event transfer:
- Login to your participant account
- Once logged in, click on “Your Registrations” on the top of the page
- On the right side of the tile for your registration, click on “View Registration”
- At the bottom, click on the grey button labeled “Registration Options,” then click on “switch category”
