Traditionally, the MCM finisher database is finalized between three and four weeks following the event. After the conclusion of the event, a thorough investigation is conducted to validate runner data and ensure all results are accurate. When the MCM finisher data is approved, runners may begin to access and download the official finisher certificate through the results page of the MCM website.

In 2017, the MCM debuts a new feature allowing for personalization of the finisher certificate to best represent an individual runner’s experience. Runners may select up to four of 11 badges to illustrate their run with the Marines. The badges signify different categories and accomplishments including First Marathon, Personal Record, Charity Runner, Service Member and Military Family.

Circular in shape, the badge icons are surrounded by gold foil design. When runners click on the badges of their choice, the graphic automatically populates the bottom portion of the certificate.

In addition to the new badges, the finisher certificates will feature the runner’s finish time, overall place, gender place and half marathon split time.
