Due to the number of expected deferment re-registrations from 2020 and 2021, the Marine Corps Marathon Organization (MCMO) will be rolling out the 47th Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) Weekend Events registration in stages.
Deferments:
Those who hold a current deferment will be receiving an email with instructions and a dedicated link on January 26. Registration will be open from January 26 to February 15. Current deferments must be used before any other means of registration. Otherwise, runner will risk forfeiting their deferred entry.
Golden Ticket, Runners Club and Active Duty/Active Reserve:
MCM Mystery Holiday Gift Golden Ticket holders and MCM Runners Club members will also receive a designated registration link via email on February 2.
MCMO will also open a limited number of entries on February 2 for Active Duty and Active Reserve military members at www.marinemarathon.com.
Golden Ticket holders, Runners Club members and Active Duty/Active Reserve entries will have from February 2 to February 15 to register.
General Registration:
General registration for the 47th MCM will open on February 16 at noon EST on a first come, first serve basis.
Charity registrations open on March 1.
Access Granted:
If you do not hold a deferment or Golden Ticket, guaranteed access into the MCM awaits with a successful finish of the live and in-person Marine Corps 17.75K on March 26. Registration opens on January 19 for this 11.03 mile run through Prince William Forest Park.
Runners who receive Access Granted will be emailed a MCM registration link following the completion of the Marine Corps 17.75K and verification of results, and will have from March 26 to March 30 at noon EST to register.
Additional MCM Weekend Events Registration:
MCM50K and MCM10K deferment re-registration will open on January 26. Runners who currently hold a deferred entry will be emailed a dedicated registration link via email.
MCM50K general registration will open on February 16.
MCM10K general registration will open on April 6.
MCM, MCM50K and MCM10K general registration will remain open until the race field closes.
